Nextnova announces plans for 2 GW solar cell manufacturing in Oklahoma

Nextnova Solar plans to build a solar cell manufacturing plant in Yukon, Oklahoma, near its Oklahoma City base. The facility, set in a 458,000 square-foot building, would produce 2 gigawatts of solar cells a year, with room to grow to 5 gigawatts if demand supports it. Construction is set to start in November 2026, with production beginning in March 2027. The company says it will start with 300 workers.
