Everything outside that barrier is fire-resistant, with one exception: roof overhangs, which normally need wood framing to stick out from the wall. The question is whether there's a way to build overhangs without introducing combustible wood, or whether the safer path is to just use a fire-resistant wood species instead, alongside ember-blocking screens and vents at the soffit (the underside of the overhang) and roof ridge.
