Larson Promoted at 'Genuinely Transformed' Twin City Fan
Twin City Fan Companies Ltd. has a new president. James Larson took over the role on Tuesday, September 1, moving up from his position as chief operating officer, which he had held since March 2025. He succeeds Michael McCann, who led the company for five years and is retiring in February. Until then, McCann will stay on in an advisory role, focusing on key customer relationships and the company's growing data center business.
Larson brings more than 30 years of manufacturing and operations experience, including past roles as president of Cass Precision Machining and chief operating officer at King Technology and AmesburyTruth. Company leadership described the change as part of a succession plan that had been in the works for two years, aimed at keeping the business growing in both its established and newer markets.
Twin City Fan Companies makes industrial and commercial air-moving equipment through its three brands, Twin City Fan & Blower, Aerovent, and Clarage. This is a corporate leadership change rather than a shift in products, pricing, or rebates, so it has no direct effect on homeowners planning heating or cooling upgrades. It is simply a change at the top of a company that manufactures fans and blowers used in larger commercial and industrial systems.
