Charge up your Christmas tree with this Hallmark Keepsake Daytona Scat Pack

September 27, 2026 · Electrek · Score: 0

This one is off topic for anyone tracking home energy upgrades. Hallmark is adding a Christmas ornament version of the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack to its Keepsake collection for 2026, set to go on sale next month. It is the only electric vehicle included among this year's car-themed ornaments.

The real Charger Daytona is an all-wheel-drive electric muscle car with up to 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, capable of going 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds. Despite that performance, it has not sold well, and dealers cut prices on leftover 2025 models to clear lots. Stellantis, Dodge's parent company, has kept investing in the car anyway, giving the 2027 version a different charging plug standard (NACS, the Tesla-style connector now used across most of the industry) along with a higher price.

None of this affects home energy upgrades, rebates, or your electric bill. It is a lighthearted item about a toy ornament tied to an EV that has struggled in the market, not a policy or incentive change. If you already have an EV or are shopping for one, the charging plug change on the 2027 Charger is worth knowing about since it means the car will work with Tesla-style charging stations, but that is a vehicle detail, not something tied to home electrification programs.
